Small update, the black paint did not hold and I had to remove it. I cleaned it with water but also found out that my glue is not waterproof. After small repairs I was at scratch again.
The statue
The paint is still drying. The statue was painted grey, drybrushed with light grey and white. Then I painted it dark green with GW ink. The floor tiles are dark grey and purple (a mixing accident but I very happy with the result).
Dark grey = 50% black 50% white
Light grey = 25% black and 75% white

Finished painting project for may
This month I worked mainly on terrain so I only finished this one Epic Warhound titan. My painting skills are not that high and I go for simple tabletop quantity. Also I like dirty models (except maybe Eldar)
This is my first Epic paintjob and second forgeworld model.
My first experiment with water effects, a reasonable result in my opinion. It took longer to dry than expected. (and longer than the instructions said it would)

City fight terrain - Expansion Part 2
Air defence building
I bought an old toy at a flea market and I'm going to use this as the basis for the air defence turret. The floor was made from a plastic container, I think it contain tomatoes.
Red was the cheapest primer color available at the DIY shop.
I did not glue the roof stones to the building so that I could place model inside the building.
Statue
Added some more details, these are again cast with castlemolds. The tiles are simple tick paper cut into rough squares. Also gave this a red primer coat. I can start painting this.
Crator
I've started painting, nice uniform black and a space marine for scale.
That is all for now.

Painting project for may
City fight terrain - Expansion Part 1
My club is expanding on it's available city fight terrain. Last year we created half a table of city blocks and half a table of ash wastes. We used this setup in 2 test games and 2 demos.
The terrain is mainly made by Wiz and myself. For this quarter Wiz will be making 4 blocks of industrial terrain and I've committed to creating standard 4 blocks of terrain.
I'm making 3 pieces of terrain :
1 crator block
1 statue
1 warehouse
Statue
I bought the statue model a long time ago, combined with some castlemolds blocks to create a base. I'm thinking about create a small park around the statue.
Crator
A crator from Amera combined with stuff from my rubble box.
Building
Started on the warehouse, I want this one to be big. The base of the building is created from castlemold blocks. Only problem is I simple cannot cast enough blocks to keep construction going.
